Business Case for the Tauranga Domain Stadium is totally Defective and Misleading
TCC is working hard on producing a compelling Business Case for the Stadium to present to the Commissioners around the end of March.. However from discussions with the project team of consultants, the Business Case will NOT include
the cost of relocating the evicted sporting clubs and their requirements, the cost of relocating Speedway
the loss of revenue to Tauranga by evicting Speedway. Speedway is the largest sporting event in Tauranga and has 18 meeting per year with followers coming to stay and watch from all over the North Island.
The Business Case will also not include a current Usage Summary of the numbers of people using the Tauranga Domain sporting facilities each week.
Where is the Business Case for retaining the status quo? What value does the council give green space?
