On 21 August 2023 the Commissioners decided to select Option 2 (below) for the “Vanity” Stadium.

The major influence on the decision was the lack of available funding, although it was said in the meeting that the commissioners saw the public opinion opposition.

Option 2 is a staged development starting in 2029/2030. This allows time for a democratically elected council to cancel the project.

Note that the Council is asking for another $900,000 for consultants. items 98 & 99 are almost contradictory.
